I'm an amateur photographer always looking for tutorial to improve my skills. Some days ago I went on Natalia blog and found the link to her work. She is a Digital Artist that works most with photogrphers and do the post-process of their photos. It means that a photographer take the photos of the model with a set of expensive studio light, with the support of a make up artist, a stylist, an hair artist and all the stuff needed to have a beautiful shot. Then...Natalia starts to work. This only to let you know that the original photos you see in the stream aren't photos you can take at a birthday party after midnight or in a sunny day when you are sweating, but photos taken with all the rule of great photography...
Now...look at that stream and let your self-esteem improve a lot...
I mean, of course all the model are pretty girls, but human as everyone else...there are days that also a model has a pimple on her face but of course you will never see it in a photo...thanks to people like Natalia.
I smile when I ask to take photos of someone and I receive the answer " I'm not coming out well in photos"...I always reply..."this is all about the law of large numbers". The more you shot the more you have probability to obtain photos where you have a nice shape.
I assure you that also the models have some photos during a shoot where their faces looks like a monster...
So cheer-up...

Sono una appassionata di fotografia e vado spesso a cercare tutorial per migliorami. Qualche giorno fa sono capitata sul blog di Natalia e ho trovato il lin al suo lavoro. Natalia è una Digital Artist che lavora principalmente con fotogragi ed esegue il post.processing per loro. Questo vuol dire che dei fotografi scattano con una modella, con costose luci da studio, truccatrici di supporto, costumiste, parrucchieri e tutte le cose necessarie per uno scatto di quelli wow. Poi Natalia inizia lavorare. Questo per farvi capire che le foto che vedete non sono prese ad una festa di compleanno dopo ma mezzanotte o in una afosa giornata quando siete tutti sudati ma foto scattate seguendo tutti i crismi della buona fotografia.
Adesso guardate al suo lavoro...non sentite già la vostra autostima crescere?
Sicuramente quelle sono belle ragazze, ma umane come qualsiasi altra...ci sono giorni in cui anche le modelle hanno un brufolo sulla faccia ma ovviamente non lo vedrete mai nelle foto...grazie a persone come Natalia.
Sorrido quando chiedendo a delle persone di posare per me mi sento rispondere "non vengo bene in foto". Io repilico sempre "E' tutto legato alla teoria dei grandi numeri". Più foto fai più alta la probabilità che ci siano foto dove appari bene.
Vi assicuro che anche le modelle hanno delle foto durante ciascuna sessione dove sembra siano dei mostri...
